Moody's visit 10 Downing Street

Our Chairman Alan and MD Caroline travelled to London on Monday 14th August to attend a Northumberland Summer Reception at 10 Downing Street, as a thank you from Blyth Valley MP Ian Levy.

Moody Logistics and Storage came to the aid of Newcastle's Polish Centre after Ian Levy alerted us that the Centre's facilities had become full up from generous donations for Ukrainian refugees fleeing their war-torn country.

We arranged the transportation of aid donations back to our warehouse where they were stored, and then packed and palletised.

Ian Levy was also invited back in June 2020 to officially open Heathline Commercial’s new £500,000 repair and service centre.

The MP has also been a great advocate of our in-house apprenticeship scheme and been a voice for the transport industry in the Houses of Parliament, following conversations with Caroline.

Arriving at 10 Downing Street Caroline and Alan enjoyed an afternoon of drinks and canapes, mixing with other local business leaders from various industries before heading home.

Caroline said, “Being invited to 10 Downing Street for the Summer Reception was a real privilege and a great experience, made even more enjoyable that I could spend the day with my Dad and our Chairman Alan.”
