At the end of August our compliance and operations manager Paul Johnson worked alongside logistics manager Mark Fisher to ensure we continued following all processes and procedures in preparation of our FORS accreditation audit.
The voluntary accreditation scheme is for fleet operators to demonstrate exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
Moody Logistics and Storage initially gained FORS bronze accreditation back in 2020 after Danish-based Grundfos made it a condition that we become a member of the voluntary scheme in order to transport its products to sites across the UK.
We were delighted to get the news that our organisation met the FORS Bronze criteria following the audit.
Our certification has not only supported our growth strategy since 2020, it is pivotal to the way we all work every day, from office staff to drivers.
Paul said, "Retaining our FORS accreditation for another year reinforces our commitment to following the criteria, and positions us as a strong logistics leader in the north east.
“I’m really pleased with the way our team get behind the scheme and help us continue to achieve high levels of service to our customers.”
