Class 2 HGV Multi Drop Driver

Moody logistics and Storage is an award winning family business established in 1947. We are renowned as a leading professional operator in the multi drop pallet industry in the North East.

What we offer

Rate of pay circa £13.73 per hour
The above includes basic rate of £12.50 plus £50 per month attendance bonus (subject to full attendance) plus £2 per day tax free meal allowance (£40 per month average) plus £8 a day tail lift bonus (£160 per month average). Calculated over an average 50 hours per week
Average holiday pay is calculated & paid including bank holidays
Annual profit share scheme
Up to 23 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
Company uniform provided
Driver CPC course paid with training time also paid

Must have

Class 2 experience
Hold a current clean class 2 driving licence with no major endorsements on your licence
Hold a current Digi-Tacho card
Have a valid CPC certificate
Have an excellent approach to customer service
A good geographical knowledge of the North East is desirable

Preferred

Experience in Pallet network or multi drop experience

Working Hours

Mon- Fri, 8.00am to 5.00pm
40 hours per week
Overtime when required

What do we give you?

£11.44/hr increasing to £12.21 in April 2025 21 year old and over
£10.00/hr 18-20 year olds
Monthly attendance bonus of £50 (subject to a full month attendance)
Profit share after probation period
21 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays which will increase to 23 with service
Uniform provided
Forklift license training on counter balance and flexi

Training and Development

Use of hand held scanners and warehouse IT systems
Stock management systems and procedures
Health & Safety training, including manual handling, fire warden and first aid
Customer service skills
